The new year is a beautifully hopeful time. It is a time of anticipation and new opportunities. It is a time of fresh starts. We get to begin again. We get to start over, in a new year; this year, in a new decade.

At Church of the Cross we’ll be marking this time of fresh start in worship with a series called, fittingly, “Fresh Start.” We’ll be speaking to some elements that are part of starting fresh, and making a new beginning of things.

Our hope is that this time will give you some space to ponder the new ways God is moving in your life to bring you along in the journey of faith. God is not done with you yet. God is not done with any of us yet. It’s a good and rich future the Lord has in store, and God is doing new things. And the promises of God are sure.

We bid you a blessed beginning to 2020, and invite you to come along and imagine the fresh start God has in mind for you, and all of us.
