Dusty Byrd is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing in the Austin and Lake Travis area for over ten years. She currently works with adult and adolescent clients in private practice. Over the course of her career, she has worked in a variety of settings to support or provide mental health counseling in clinics, non-profits, and Lake Travis ISD.

Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hendrix College in 2013 and a Masters of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward’s University in 2017. Her clinical experience spans from school settings to residential treatment facilities. She has been in private practice since 2017 and has extensive experience working with issues such as ADHD, anxiety, behavioral/developmental issues, depression, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, school problems, self-esteem, social skills, as well as other mental health issues.

Presenter: Kathleen Hassenfratz, LPC
Kathleen Hassenfratz has embraced working with youth for thirty years in various roles: middle school teacher, middle school counselor, chemical abuse prevention counselor, ropes course manager, health and social programs coordinator, private therapist, and mom of two. She has a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Texas at Austin and Master of Education in Counseling and Guidance from Southwest Texas State, now Texas State University.
