The Lake Travis Fiddlers, founded in 2000 by Orchestra director Anna Macias, is a group of talented Lake Travis high school students who meet before, after, and sometimes during school to learn and play Western swing music.
As the primary fundraising performance group for the LTHS Orchestras, they play around the Texas hill country at public events such as festivals and grand openings. The Fiddlers also perform at private events such as birthday parties, banquets, and weddings.
The Fiddlers have played at the Austin Rodeo; the Lockhart Western Swing & BBQ Festival; the Lakeway Police Station Ribbon Cutting; and for many more occasions.
And they’ll be with the ECC after worship on Sunday, May 7th! So please plan to grab yourself a treat and a breakfast taco and a cup of coffee and stay for some great music!
