Baptism is how we are welcomed into Christ’s Body, the Church. In our baptism, we are claimed by Christ, forever … always, a loving God holds us close; and empowered to be the Lord’s servants in the world. Twice a month, Church of the Cross serves in the Mobile Loaves and Fishes ministry. On the first and third Tuesdays of the month, we gather at the Spur Building of Lake Hills Church at 6:00 PM; get in a truck loaded with sandwiches, fruit, chips, drinks, treats, and clothes (especially socks); and
